One of my clients was asking me about the advisability of establishing a sub-domain.
On the surface it sounds like a good idea - I could host this blog at http://blog.seo-internet-marketing-maven.com and it would help boost my search engine results with Google, right?
Well - unfortunately Google would think of the subdomain as an entirely different web site.
So not what I need - another web site to work on ;o)

We’re stepping back and redeveloping our affiliate program.
In my expermentation with different blogging concepts I had put the development of the program on the back burner and am just now stepping up the development there.
It’s been really nifty to see how my focus has shifted and my priorities have changed now that I’ve really narrowed the range of projects on my plate and the blogs I’ll truly be spending my time on.
I’ll keep you posted on lessons learned about affiliate marketing as we continue on.

If you haven’t been hearing the buzz Portal Feeder is ramping up for a new membership window.
In the meantime they’re offering a copy of Comment Kahuna for free - a $97.00 value!
When you sign up to be notified that the membership has become available you qualify to Comment Kahuna for free.
I’ve been working with it and I have to say that so far it’s a pretty impressive little piece of software.
I enter the search word or phrase and it searches the internet for the top ranking blogs for that category or niche. I then select the ones I’m interested in commenting on and the software takes me to the blog and the most relevant post and I easily make my comment (the software even has auto-fill for profile information for me) and just click to go the next blog!
Suh-weet!
What a wonderful tool and a great support for anybody out there struggling to get their blog noticed.
Just go to Portal Feeder and grab your copy and run.
It does require registration once you install the software, but easy peasy - entered my name and email and that was it.
Painless.
I know I’m a happier blogger this morning.
Best to all of you,
Tracy A. Phaup

I have several blog categories for our brand new blog component at the SEO Internet Marketing Maven that have yet to contain valuable posts.
I’ve decided to leave the categories available to give you and other visitors an idea of the kinds of posts they can look forward to.
Here’s to happy blogging,
Tracy

My blog was having a hard time coping with such a long list of blog servers so I condensed it down to what I think are the most useful blog pinging services.
Which ones do you use, and why?
Here’s my updated list.

This is a great list of blogging ping services that you can add to your blog.
How you add them depends on what kind of blog that you have.
If you’re not sure how to do it let me know and I’ll see if I can work up some instructions; I’m sure lots of people have the same question.
In the meantime, here they are!
Enjoy,
